On October 14, Australian’s will have their say in a referendum on whether to recognise Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the First People of Australia in the Constitution through an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Voice. The Voice will be an independent, representitive body for First Nations people that will give advice to the Australian Parliament and Government on matters that affect First Nations people.
