The CFMEU has been advised that low levels of asbestos contamination has been identified in some of the following Boral fire-rated plasterboard products:

• Firestop® Plasterboard
• Fire WetstopTM Plasterboard
• MultistopTM Plasterboard range (3/3HI, 4/4HI, 5/5HI)
• ShaftlinerTM Mould Stop Plasterboard

Any workers using Boral fire-rated plasterboard products should immediately demand their company confirm whether the products they are using are asbestos free.
